ABOUT

Myriam Fares is a Lebanese singer, performer and songwriter, with a music career spanning two inspiring decades and transcending geographical borders across the region. Dubbed as “the queen of stage”, Myriam is known for her unique, full-fledged live performances which celebrate Arab cultures with a young and modern spirit. Myriam is also an actress, producer, fashion icon, and influencer, with one of the largest fan bases among Middle Eastern artists.

Myriam’s vision has always been to unite the Arab world through her music, and introduce it to the entire world. She’s the only artist in the middle east who blends the art and instruments of ancient and traditional cultures and fuses them into a modern, young spirit.

“Tezalzelha”, was first unveiled live on-stage at one of the most prominent music festivals in the Middle east. The music video for this strong Iraqi song that conveys woman empowerment was directed by Myriam herself. This resulted in a music video that captures the essence of a mesmerizing live experience while enthralling the audience by a choreography that blends beauty with intense emotion as the accompanying screen visuals immerse the viewer in an artistic world of subtle femininity and power. This song celebrates the strength and passion of women as they navigate the complexities of love and self-discovery.

In August 2023, the dynamic collaboration “The North Coast” (el Sahel el Shamaly) was unveiled, featuring Myriam Fares and the iconic Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir, affectionately known as “the King” due to his immense influence in the region’s music scene. From its debut, the duo struck a resounding success, garnering enthusiastic praise and extensive media coverage. Myriam’s name trended on social media for 10 consecutive days across Lebanon, Egypt, KSA, and Yemen after the release of this summer sensation.

In 2022, Myriam Fares was selected by the FIFA panel to be the performing artist representing the Arab world in the official FIFA Fan Festival anthem of the Qatar world cup. Myriam performed Tukoh Taka alongside global artists Nicki Minaj and Maluma. Behind the scenes, Myriam was involved in the arrangement of the track, composing the Arabic part and designing the choreography of the music video. The music video ranked #1 music video on YouTube, #1 trending song on YouTube and #1 song on iTunes USA. Tukoh Taka topped the music charts across the region and the world right after its release, being the first song in the music industry to include three languages, English, Spanish and Arabic.

The opening of the FIFA Fan Festival in Qatar saw an unprecedented performance by Myriam that included: 50 dancers, 50 musicians, 400 costumes and bespoke graphics.

In 2021, Myriam starred in Netflix’s first documentary film about an Arab celebrity. The movie recounts real-life experiences in Myriam’s personal and professional life; Myriam Fares: The Journey. From pregnancy and delivery to music and studio preparations, The Journey documents the Lebanese artist’s up-close experiences with her family during covid-19 lockdown. Immediately after its release, the documentary ranked no.1 for 2 weeks in the Arabic & international films category, as well as Netflix documentaries and series, remaining in the top 10 list for 2 months. 2 years after its release, Myriam Fares The Journey was among the top searched titles on Netflix in the region.

In 2010, Myriam Fares founded her own music label, “Myriam Music”. With a discography of more than 12 albums/singles and countless hits, Myriam injects an upbeat vibe and an ongoing originality in all of her songs, which makes them catchy even among non-Arabic speaking audiences. Her song Ghamarni is the best example, as it remains a raving addiction until this day in most eastern European countries such as Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and many others.

Myriam has an ardent audience in the Middle East and across the world, to which she has given some of her largest performances. Her sold-out events in the Middle East, Mexico, China and Canada, have gathered tens of thousands of fans time and time again surpassing 200 000+ attendees in one concert. “I FEEL MOST ALIVE WHEN I’M ON STAGE, IN FRONT OF MY FANS, GIVING THEM THE BEST OF MYSELF.”

After searching for 25 years, Mansour Rahbani and Rahbani works’ producer Nader Alatassi found in 25-year-old Myriam, the perfect profile to reincarnate the role of Fairuz, alongside legend Duraid Lahham, Antoine Kerbej and Georges Khabbaz. “Fawazir Myriam”, a new take on the 80’s Ramadan entertainment series, with Myriam’s multi-talent injecting a fresh playfulness and glamour.
